While visiting Lampasas County, there are various opportunities to attend
Eclipse events, as well as many local attractions. Lampasas is well known for
its sulphur springs, and is home to the oldest spring-fed pool in the state. We
have 7 local parks, including a sculpture garden, children’s activities, a
community garden, water features; a mural tour around town, and one-of-a-
kind restaurants, retail shops and wineries. There will also be an event

Lampasas County is expecting an extra 60,000 to 100,000 people during the
North American Total Solar Eclipse. Be advised that traffic may be heavy,
and reservations may be required when dining at restaurants.
